Welcome to the BHC Kampala

The UK has a long-standing and strong bilateral relationship with Uganda. Our bilateral ties cover many areas from political and developmental to trade and education. Our Working with Uganda section will give more details about the how we are working together.

Climate Change Exhibition

The Uganda Museum and the British High Commission have jointly mounted an exhibition that showed how Uganda is connected to the global "story" of climate change, how the impacts of climate change are being felt, the oppotunities that dealing with the problem may present, and how the international community is responding. Uganda's State Minister for Environment, Jessica Eriyo, opened the exhibition on 10 June.

Human Rights in Burma

19th June was the 64th birthday of the imprisoned Burma leader Aung San Suu Kyi.  We are backing the campaign www.64forsuu.org where you can post messages in support of her plight. Also see our latest position on human rights in Burma.
