If you are a British Citizen, it is important that Consular Section know of your presence in Uganda. Consular registration is a free service.

The Consular Section is located within the High Commission. The Consular Section has a separate entrance, the turning for which is found off Kira Road about 50m from the main High Commission entrance. The Consular entrance is about 100m down the hill on the left. The building is next to the Uganda Wildlife Authority Headquarters and located close to the Uganda Museum.

The Consular Section is open to the general public from Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays;

0800-1300 - open to personal callers

• the Section is not open to personal callers in the afternoon;
• our telephone number - (0)31 2312000 - is staffed from 0830- 1300 and 1400 - 1630, Monday to Friday, and 0830- 1230 on a Friday excluding High Commission holidays.
