You can register the death of a UK National at the Consular Section of the British High Commission. 

Consular death registration is not a legal requirement but there are some benefits:

• you’ll be provided with a British style death certificate
• a record of the death will be held by the General Register Office in the UK  

To make an application for this service please come to the Consular Section any weekday morning.  You will need to provide:    

• Ugandan death certificate
• British passport of the deceased 

The fee for registering a death is currently Ug Sh 322,000. The fee for a birth certificate is Ug Sh 218,500
