The British Council is the United Kingsom's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations.

It works with partners, both in country and in the UK, to showcase UK excellence, innovation and creativity and is a major channel for the UK's public diplomacy in the region. The British Council primary aim is to build mutually beneficial relationships between Uganda and the UK across all sectors of society.
